Harry Hunsicker is the best-selling author of nine crime thrillers and numerous short stories, including The Life and Death of Rose Doucette, which was shortlisted for a 2025 Thriller Award by the International Thriller Writers, his second work to be nominated for the honor. Hunsicker’s debut novel was a finalist for a Shamus Award, and his short story “West of Nowhere” was selected for inclusion in the Best American Mysteries of 2010. Hunsicker lives in Dallas, a fourth-generation native of the city.
